tcm has a unique approach to ecology, which allows the company to solve a wide range of ecological problems and issues on behalf of clients in the road, rail and construction industries and to develop bespoke solutions that fit with individual client requirements and timescales.
tcm has developed the bespoke
(Total Reptile & Amphibian Protection) fencing system as a ‘one stop’ solution to mitigation, exclusion and translocation schemes.
fencing can be used as a barrier against reptiles, amphibians and small mammals including newts, snakes, lizards, slowworms and water voles.
fencing is constructed from 100% recycled black polypropylene panels, these are joined by steel posts which also add support and rigidity to the fence.
fencing is available in both temporary and permanent form.
If
is to be used for translocation schemes it can be installed at 45° as a one way barrier to allow species to leave the site but not re-enter, pitfall traps and artificial refuges can also be installed to ensure all species are excluded from the desired site.
Installation of
fencing is a rapid process and it can be installed in all terrains. Solutions are also available for access roads and gates.
For the mitigation, exclusion and translocation of larger mammals such as badger’s tcm can supply and install custom designed electric badger exclusion fencing. This can include badger bi-directional or one way badger gates for exclusion purposes. All products supplied meet DEFRA requirements.
