Since commencing this project in 2007, an incredible 137,500 tonnes of Japanese knotweed contaminated soil has been cleaned on the Olympic Park site.
This represents an amazing achievement, saving huge quantities of carbon emissions by undertaking in-situ treatment and the results confirm TCM as the leading Japanese knotweed eradication specialist in the UK.
The project has required us to be totally flexible in our approach in order to meet the client’s time schedules and logistical needs due to the many other activities taking place on site. The success of bringing the project in on time is confirmed in the Thames Gateway Annual Report 2008/9 which confirms that construction is ahead of schedule.
We’d like to thank all those that have been involved for their commitment and expertise which have allowed us to build on the relationships we have made and we look forward to providing this service on similar projects in the future.
Using our proven methodology, TCM has processed in excess of 400,000 tonnes of Japanese knotweed contaminated soil during 2009.
