Mini screen is the new mechanical addition to the company and is already booked on to various jobs nationwide.
The mechanical screener is a compact piece of equipment designed to be used in areas of limited access and/or to replace the larger machinery used to screen Japanese knotweed from contaminated soil.
It is ideal for any situation where the client has an infestation that isn’t suitable for herbicidal treatment due to external pressures such as time constraints or a plant that has been previously disturbed. It will also be of benefit on the sites where areas of soil being removed would usually have to be replaced or where the large existing equipment we usually use would be wasted on a small area.
Landfill costs have risen dramatically since TCM started out back in 2000 and whilst we have taken every step to ensure that we minimise the costs for our clients it has become important that we constantly act on keeping these as low as possible. The TCM Mini screen will reduce waste soil in situations where we could previously only use the dig and dump method. By reducing our costs to landfill we are simultaneously reducing our impact on the environment which is an area many companies and members of the public will consider when choosing a contractor of any kind.
TCM have always been at the forefront of research and creating new solutions to remove Japanese knotweed and therefore have not hesitated in using this new equipment to continue providing the best possible service for its clients.
